   We had a great experience in this location of Joey. We live close by and every 2 months or so visit this location. Food: we ordered steak and sushi and upgraded to the bigger sirloin. The steak was absolutely amazing. I have had it a few times here but this time I tasted a charcoal taste on it that was very good. I’d be back for that steak for sure. We also had the salmon sushi it was great like always. We also ordered their burger, it was pretty good but nothing special about it. My partner has a phd in fries lol and she really loved the fries here. Service: This time we were served by Nikayla. She was very bubbly and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. When she first came to our table she engaged in a short conversation with us and as soon as she left i told my partner we have a great server. Will definitely be back! All in all it was a great evening. We almost went to Earls, im glad we didn’t.

   Joey used to be a go-to, but the food quality has dropped. My espresso martini tasted like watered-down coffee—disappointing. Thankfully, the service was still excellent. Hoping they step it up again!

   Had an amazing Valentine’s dinner with Arjun! We appreciated their dedication, kind service, and being inclusive and welcoming. We loved the touch of complimentary champagne and chocolate strawberries for dessert. Thank you Joey, thanks Arjun!

   I’ve been to other joeys locations before but I love the Burnaby one the most!! Servers were all super kind, especially the one we had yesterday, she was amazing! Very attentive and didn’t feel pressured to order quickly even though the restaurant was quite packed and we had a 2 hour dine time. I wish I remembered her name because she deserves a huge shout out! Food came out quickly, and tasted delicious. Portions were a bit smaller than I remember but didn’t affect the dining experience in my opinion. The free champagne and chocolate strawberries really upped the Valentines dinner for my partner and I, such a great touch. Overall a great valentines dinner!!

   We were served by a new server in training. Her name was Cleo. She was very friendly knowledgeable and kind. Her service was superior and unless she told me she was training I wouldn’t have known. Our food and drinks came fast and the food was hot and fresh. Definitely recommend this location and will be back.

    Over-all a good experience. Service was good. Server was nice. Only problem to note was the med-rare steak was a bit tough and fries was cold.
