   Once again, a great Saturday night out with friends at Joeys! Zoe was our server and she was amazing! Food was fantastic as well as drinks. Always a shout out to welcoming staff who always get us to our table with a smile!

   Feedback on Recent Restaurant Visit We recently visited the Joes restaurant in Burnaby, and while the staff were nice and friendly, it seemed they might have been a bit inexperienced. We had to ask several times for plates to share and the correct utensils. On arrival, we were greeted with a "Happy Anniversary" card, even though our reservation mentioned it was a birthday gathering. Unfortunately, the food did not meet our expectations either. The burgers were too dry, and the fish tacos were quite disappointing. Having had fish tacos at Joyes before and always enjoyed them, this time, I was left unsatisfied and reluctant to order them again. We were also seated on the second floor, which felt quite abandoned. It seemed like we were not given much attention in terms of service compared to a happy crowd downstairs. It’s possible, though, that the big crowd on the first floor had a similar experience. We live in Coquitlam and booked the Burnaby location because we really enjoyed it in the past, but after our last visit, we would most likely pass on this restaurant altogether.

   I had a fantastic experience at Joey’s restaurant today. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Our server, Diana T., went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed. It was a birthday celebration, and they made it extra special by surprising us with a complimentary birthday cake and a free drink, which was such a thoughtful touch. I also had a little one with me, and Diana was incredibly accommodating—bringing crayons to keep her entertained and making sure she was comfortable throughout the meal. The food was outstanding—served at the perfect temperature, beautifully presented, and delivered right on time. I can be quite picky when it comes to food, but everything exceeded my expectations. Overall, it was an amazing dining experience. The combination of excellent service, great food, and a welcoming atmosphere made it truly memorable. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Joey’s, especially with service like this!

   We had an amazing experience! The manager—I believe her name was Julia—went above and beyond to make sure we had a great night. She truly made the experience unforgettable. Our server, Olivia, was also fantastic and took great care of us. Overall, the service was excellent, and I’m looking forward to coming back!

    We had a great experience in this location of Joey. We live close by and every 2 months or so visit this location. Food: we ordered steak and sushi and upgraded to the bigger sirloin. The steak was absolutely amazing. I have had it a few times here but this time I tasted a charcoal taste on it that was very good. I’d be back for that steak for sure. We also had the salmon sushi it was great like always. We also ordered their burger, it was pretty good but nothing special about it. My partner has a phd in fries lol and she really loved the fries here. Service: This time we were served by Nikayla. She was very bubbly and made us feel welcomed and appreciated. When she first came to our table she engaged in a short conversation with us and as soon as she left i told my partner we have a great server. Will definitely be back! All in all it was a great evening. We almost went to Earls, im glad we didn’t.
