   I was a bit disappointed that there wasn’t a kids menu. When we asked the waitress, she told us that they do have one, but it’s not visible online. I had to find an alternative for my young child before coming to the restaurant. It should indicate online that a kids menu is available.

   Food was great. Server upgraded my steak and sushi without my consent and when I asked why my bill was high and noticed the up charge, her reply was it was her mistake yet she won’t be able to change it. Poor recovery.

   Great menu -- literally something for everybody. Reasonably priced drinks/beers/wines. Friendly server, who appropriately realized we just wanted to talk and talk and talk, and didn't bother us.

   I have been to this location multiple times. The Concierge at the door was wonderful. She seated us promptly, described the seat options and asked if we had a time limit. We were off the the theatre for 7 pm .. . so yes, we were under a time constraint. The concierge was going to inform the waitress ... who never showed up and ignored is, even though the menus were piled at the side of the table. We had to ask for the waitress, but instead our lovely concierge took the order for us and asked many pertinent questions. The waitress did not bring water.. even though we asked. The waiter never came over once to see if we needed anything. We again had to call over the concierge. The concierge made appropriate apologies and tried to make amends with a dessert and offered us a beverage... which we did not take advantage of. Very very disappointed with this waitress

   When we tried to reserve on "OpenTable" it said that there was no openings' in the Dining Area, just the lounge with the High Top tables. Since we wanted quiet dining experience we did not want a bar atmosphere and we almost went elsewhere. We decided to risk it and discovered that not even one dining room table was in use when we got there at 4:45PM. This should never happen as it is bad for business to exclude a certain demographic of client for false reasons. As far as food goes it was mostly fantastic. We wanted to try as many dishes as possible and leaned towards carpaccio and ceviche and other appetizers. All was exceptional except the wagyu carpaccio as the aioli sauce was overpowering and to rich. We will consider going back and try other menu items in the near future. We did find our server very slow and inattentive when plates were empty for 10 minutes and not so busy. Also we had a spill of sauce on the table which was to much for paper towels and we had hoped our server could bring us a wet cloth but that did not happen even though she cleaned the table completely before desert so it was painfully obvious yet no action towards getting us back to a clean table.

    Food was great and pretty quick to arrive at the table. Our server, Celtin was very attentive and welcoming. She brought us our food promptly and checked in to make sure we were well taken care of. The food was very tasty and delicious and we ended up sharing our dishes with one another. The fish tacos and chicken club were delicious!! We were there to enjoy a meal before seeing the musical Moulin Rouge nearby at the mirvish theatre on Victoria street. Making reservations on line made it very easy to book at Joey’s. Would definitely recommend going to Joey’s eaton centre before taking in a show.
