   The food was really good and the staff was very friendly and the whole experience was wonderful. I would 100% go back and I highly recommend it to someone else who wants to go.

   Waited 2 hours for main entrees and was late for the leafs game food was good but was forced to eat super fast overall very disappointing

   We arrived and we were welcomed. As we were being seated, our server (Ava) announced we had a time limit at our table, which we thought was kind of rude. Our server took our drink orders and gave us her recommendations on the menu. When we placed our orders (based on her recommendations) she told us one of the items was sold out. It was 5pm! From then on, we didn’t see our server other than when she was rushing past our table. We waited 1 hr and 10 minutes for our food to arrive. 3 tables that were seated after us were eating long before us. We had to flag down another server to place another drink order while we waited. That order took 20 minutes to arrive and we had to question why we hadn’t received it. When we told our server that we had been waiting for our food for a long time, she said it was because our orders were complicated. Steak Frite, a chicken sandwich, fish tacos and udon noodle bowl. Does that sound complicated? All basic menu items, no special requests. And my fries were room temperature when our food finally arrived. Horrific service! Never again!

   Beautiful place, great vibe, food was good. Some odd dishes such as the Udon Noodle pasta. Odd combination of flavours

   The food and drinks at Joey on King were fresh, tasty and well presented. Unfortunately the service was terrible. We were sat in a cozy corner table but felt forgotten. Our assigned server did not visit our table until well over 30 minutes after being sat. A helpful bartender took our orders and delivered our food but our waitress never checked in and we had to flag her down for a bill. We appreciated it was a busy seating time, but there were many open tables in our section and appeared over staffed if anything. We were very disappointed with this experience and did not feel the service met the value of cost for our food and drink.

   The ambiance and environment are excellent—upscale, clean, and well-designed. The new location is beautiful, with well-spaced tables that provide a sense of privacy from other diners (and no one bumping into one another when pushing back a chair or trying to get up to leave). During the 5-8 PM dinner rush, the restaurant gets busy with a lively yet not overwhelming buzz of conversation. Their happy hour menu offers great value, with $10 margaritas and tapa snack options under $20. They also have happy hour from 2-5 PM and late-night specials daily. However, service was noticeably slow, and it took a while for all our orders to arrive. As a note, it would also be great to see oysters or a buck-a-shuck deal added to the happy hour menu.

   Our initial server was unfriendly and rude. She took my unfinished drink away without asking if I was finished and when I went to order another one and mentioned I hadn't finished with my prior, she did not apologize and said "I'll get you a taster" with attitude. She had passed us over to another server who also passed our table over to yet another server and we decided to get our bills and leave. To add, we then saw our original server sitting at the bar having a martini in front of our table, not a great look. The venue is beautiful and the food was great, however staff could use some work. I worked in the hospitality industry for 10 years and the service did not meet expectations.
