   Our first trip to Joey will be our last. The food was just okay for taste, but overpriced for the quality. I ordered the Joey Kitchen Steak to be prepared medium. It was delivered well-done. When I asked it to be corrected, I was *not* given the steak I had originally ordered, but a smaller 7 oz. steak that took over 30 minutes to be cooked and was served to me a full 20 minutes after my family was done eating their entire meals. While I acknowledge that I did take three modest slices out of the previous steak to see if there was any red, never in my experience have I sent food back only to I have the restaurant replace the improperly prepared original item with a food serving SMALLER than the original order. I raised this issue with the server who shrugged her shoulders and noted they didn’t charge me for the smaller replacement steak which was literally listed on the receipt as a charge and credit while they still charged me for the larger steak. This is the worst meal experience I’ve had in decades. I never post restaurant reviews, but this experience was so profoundly surprising that I felt compelled to do so.

   I had a great time here! I came here for my birthday and the manager Giselle went out of her way to make it special. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the food was great. Nice ambiance as well. Has great vegetarian options!

   The food and ambience makes this one of my wife’s favorite places in Seattle. It’s energetic without it feeling overwhelming. Our server, Daniel, was also awesome. We’ll definitely be back soon!

   The service was pretty lackluster considering how much the dinner cost (over $100 a person). We were asked about drinks one time while having dinner. We asked for a box and simply did not get it. We were promised something for my friend's birthday and did not get it. I don't even really care that there was no cake but don't promise something and then just forget about us. The food was good but everything was overpriced.

   A great experience and fun atmosphere. Giselle - the manager - came by a couple times just to check in and make sure our food was okay and ask if we needed anything. The staff was great which made dinning not feel like a transactional experience. WOULD RECOMMEND!!

    We celebrated my daughter’s 16th birthday at Joey’s tonight. Daniel was our server and he was wonderful!!! He managed a big group of 16-year olds with ease. It was a perfect place to celebrate. Thank you, Daniel!
