   Worst experience at joeys Yorkdale. Although I acknowledge being 15 min late for my 6:30pm reservations it took an hour to order an app? We weren’t even offered the opportunity to order drinks after the water arrived (which I asked for immediately due to being stuck in traffic for an hour and a half). Order for apps was taken at 7:45pm, an hour after arrival?? When I asked for wine (had to flag the waitress down), the one I wanted wasn’t available (ok it happens). Thought I’d try another one and was told they didn’t have enough wine glasses. I had to follow up with my missing waitress, and only then did I get a glass of wine. The roasted corn dip was fabulous, albeit a little salty on the corn chips. Shortly thereafter we got our mains. My friend ordered steak and sushi ordered medium and it was good. My steak sirloin was cold and tasteless. Not once did the server check in with us but she had time to hug her friend that was leaving. When I asked for the bill, it took her a good 20 min to get and that was only after flagging her down. I felt bad, but still left her a 10% tip. What happened to Joeys? Food has gone downhill as well as service. Wine prices are so over inflated compared to their sister restaurant- Cactus Club. Rating 3 out of 10!

   Always reliably good food at Joey’s . The servers went out of their way to be friendly. One day I’ll find out why the picture sign to a wheel chair accessible toilet point to the staircase. :)

   Service was horrible! Server was not attentive and was not to be found to pay the bill. I had to go to the main bar and ask to pay. Wow…really surprised at this service output at this restaurant.

   We had a great time at Joey, Yorkdale. After being seated at a less than desirable table, Paisley graciously reseated us at a much better booth table on the upper level. Food was delicious, service was wonderful and overall an enjoyable evening was had by all at our table. Thank you, Paisley!

   Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish! My husband and I were looking forward to a nice evening at Joey's Yordale but unfortunately, it was a letdown from the moment I walked in. Upon check-in, I was told that I would only be allowed to stay for 1 hour and 45 minutes — a restriction that immediately set a negative tone for the evening. Things didn’t improve much from there. Despite requesting a standard seating option, I was seated at a high-top table, which was uncomfortable for a long dinner. The ambiance left a lot to be desired as well. I ended up sitting next to a staircase with a direct view of an elevator, which certainly didn’t contribute to a pleasant dining atmosphere. To make matters worse, they had run out of their only Cabernet Sauvignon available by the glass, and the waiter was unwilling to offer any kind of substitute. This felt like a poor customer service choice, as it’s not too much to ask for a similar option when the primary wine offering is unavailable. As for the food, the steak and sushi entree I ordered was simply mediocre. I was expecting more, especially for the price. Overall, it felt like an underwhelming dining experience that didn’t justify the time, money, or the hassle. I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other places in the area that offer a more comfortable and enjoyable dining experience.
