   Overall it was good, although I did inform the server, that it was my daughter’s birthday 🎉, and the assistant manager AP who was a gentleman said that had something for her, yet after finishing our amazing food never received anything so we left.

   The ravioli portion was not great...seemed like one cup . Less than a regular portion size for sure.

   The food and service are consistently great at Joey’s. We prefer to eat upstairs where it’s a little quieter and away from the front doors. We had the Ahi tuna poke bowls which were fantastic. Always very fresh and delicious. We especially appreciated the manager stopping by to check on us. Worth making a reservation especially on the weekends when it’s busy. Highly recommend.

   Specifically booked a table in the bar area in our reservation details for 7:45pm to watch the Canada / US hockey game. When we arrived we waited in the que to speak to the hostess for 20 minutes until just after 8pm, the que was overloaded with 40-50 people crammed into a small entry doorway. when we finally spoke with the hostess, we were brought to our table which was on the very furthest part of the restaurant away from the TVs. We told her we had specifically booked in the bar area to watch the game. They told us they wouldn’t be able to accommodate. Instead offered us an equally worse situation on the upper level. Hostess claimed that it was a much better situation and we would have a great view… which was clearly not true. after wasting 45 minutes waiting in line and waiting to be seated (with a reservation) We decided to leave joeys and go to a different venue. Will not be returning.

    The diverse menu offers something for everyone, and the dishes we tried were both flavorful and beautifully presented. A special shoutout to the bar manager, whose expertise and warm hospitality elevated our experience. Their crafted dessert were a highlight of the evening. I highly recommend JOEY Yorkdale for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.
