The service was incredibly slow, likely due to be understaffed. We had to wait for multiple requests or ask many times because our waiter would forget. Also, we ordered bottomless drinks only to be told the sangria was out. That’s the main reason we were there. We asked to replace them with margaritas, but that couldn’t be accommodated. Our food all came out at different times and was cold by the time we got it. And for the restaurant to be a Steelers bar, the tv continued to lose signal on the largest tv in the restaurant.

I’ve been going to Johnny Pistolas for over 3.5 years now, and can never get enough! One of my favorite brunch spots in the DMV.

We got to choose our own seats. Service could have been a bit better, but maybe we're used to something a little different. The place is laid back. The food was delicious! If we could have eaten more, we would have. The brunch choices were varied enough that you could get a little taste of everything depending on what you ordered. We will be repeat customers.

The food was decent. However, do not expect typical restaurant service -- we were in town and watched a game here with our alumni association. Patrons needed to approach the bar to place and pick-up their food & beverage orders. Meanwhile, we saw 5-6 staff members lounging in booths watching TV, sitting at tables chatting & joking around with each other, taking selfies & scrolling on their phones behind the bar. If you are looking for basic Mexican food/drinks and don't mind serving yourself, you may find the experience sufficiently enjoyable. We would not return.

Brayan was fantastic! We were a group of 25 people for a birthday and he took amazing care of us! The team worked so hard to keep the mimosas flowing and the food steady! Would recommend this place for any large parties!

The women’s bathroom was in serious need of attention & the bartender should have had a more active role in serving us seeing as though we were seated at the bar. The waitress was extremely busy so I would think the bartender would step in to assist.

Was not seated until nearly 2 hours after our reservation time due to the restaurant being jam packed. What was the point in making a reservation ? Waiters seemed to be annoyed eith my party and i released asking if our table was available. Also food service was extremely messed up and most of my party did not get their meals. We were seated directly next to the dj booth and had a hard time hearing one another . The first floor was also slippery and the bathroom was filthy while also having no paper towels. Place was not very clean overall. My entire party was extremely upset with the service and 2 people received no food what so ever.

Yesterday was busy with Cince de Mayo, but the staff were able to handle the crowd. Everyone seemed to chip in to make sure guests requests were addressed.
