   I enjoyed myself yesterday at JoJos. However, it was so loud between how packed it was (which isn’t necessarily bad for the restaurant) and the music that it felt like a crowded bar. Also the service was slow and the hostess had a poor attitude. They were also low on supplies for ornament painting. My food was excellent and I will be back for another double hot chocolate for the chocolate pretzel and marshmallow made my heart happy!

   So we have only been here once previously and that was back in June 2023, and that time everything was amazing. The food was delicious however, this time it was kind of the complete opposite. To start When we first were seated, we were handed all regular adult menus, but we had two kids at the table. Luckily, I’ve been there once before and I remember there was a kids menu and my daughter had chicken tenders last time because chicken tenders is not available on the adult menu so I was able to ask about it and order it but I just feel that should’ve been available for other customers. As an appetizer, we ordered spinach dip. The spinach dip came out so thick, bland, and it wasn’t hot. We asked our waiter Why is it so thick, She took it back for them to re-cook it when it came back. Yes, it wasn’t as thick as it was previously but it was still bland and not good. I had an order of Buffalo wings And those were really good but the Jo-Jo fries also was bland and not as good as last time. Now this is a shake bar so my kids wanted a milkshake my son just wanted a plain chocolate shake. The first shake she brought out, looked like dark chocolate, and it was so thick when you order a chocolate shake your expecting milk chocolate but she assured me it was milk chocolate but it also didn’t taste like it. It was so thick my son couldn’t even drink it with a straw only eat it with a spoon and he said he did not want the ice cream in the cup so the waitress did offer something else and he got orange cream float and he really liked that my daughter did one of the big shakes and she loved that and it was just as good as last time But her milkshake was what you would consider a chocolate milkshake not the first thing that they brought out to my son.

   The host sat us at the wrong table and made us move for the other party then while waiting we saw another family without a reservation take a table then move to a booth, all while we continued to wait. The manager was dismissive and not apologetic and never came back to check on us. The server was nice. Food was excellent. But don't have option to reserve if you're going to not honor it.

   Terrible Service and Rude Management I had one of the worst experiences at Jojo Shake Bar in Detroit. We paid $88 for what was supposed to be a fun experience painting ornaments and enjoying our food and shakes. Instead, it turned into a disaster. First off, our server was completely inattentive the entire time. We waited forever for them to even check on us, and it felt like they didn’t care at all about providing decent service. To make matters worse, toward the end of our visit, the manager rudely kicked us out, after an hour saying we had been there too long even tho the reservation didn’t have a time limit. How is that our fault when the server was the one making us wait the whole time? She had never checked on us once our food arrived yet she demanded at tip the end (mind you 20% gratuity was added in our reservation.) The $88 we spent felt like a total waste. What should have been a relaxing and enjoyable outing was ruined by bad service and even worse management. It is impossible to paint ornaments, eat our dinner, have our shakes and enjoy our time all within 1 hour. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else—this place isn’t worth it.

   The hot chocolate flight was a huge letdown. There was only about a half inch to inch of cocoa in the cup and the rest was marshmallow.

   The hostess was not very helpful or nice and the server didn’t seem to happy , the food and drinks are very expensive for what your get , I got the mozzarella sticks and there was a longgggg hair underneath my mozzarella sticks
