I had a 12 pm reservation and they open at 12 they where already out of a few item that I wanted to order. One of them being rice. I order the small the turkey meatballs and I taste like left over meatballs with gravy on them and they were highly over seasoned. They were tough to cut through being that they ware smother I expected more tenderness to the meatballs but it wasn’t. The macaroni also tasted and look like it was made they day of but had not rested because the cheese inside the Mac and cheese had not melted yet. I wish the server was can be more knowledgeable of knowing what’s available and also maybe the owner manager can have all items available on the menu upon open at 12pm and be out of multiple items. Three of us dine for a price of 159.00 that included the 20% tip. I handed my server the Mac and cheese when collecting plates it was barely eaten she never ask how was it or why I didn’t finish it. I don’t like to send food back to not complain I like to support but the simple and the lack there of service and inventory is definitely at this location.

Only 2 waiters working waited 20 minutes for the waiter to take our order. Another 30 minutes for the food delivery, perhaps only 1 cook in the kitchen. Many of the food items on the menu were not available. The food is always great, unfortunately the staffing issues will be the downfall of this establishment. I blame management in the end the waiters tips suffer which is unfair. Thursday thru Sunday the venue should be equipped with enough waitstaff to service the customers.

I visited Jordyn’s Café in Hyde Park yesterday with a group of friends for a sit-down dinner, and once again, I had a fantastic experience. This was my third time at the restaurant, and Jathan was our host and server once again. He is truly one of the best servers I’ve encountered in a long time—attentive, professional, and always with a pleasant attitude. He took care of all our needs with ease, and I really appreciated how he remembered me from previous visits and greeted me with such kindness. The food was, as usual, amazing, and the ambiance of the restaurant, paired with great music, makes it one of my favorite places to eat in the neighborhood. It’s a great social spot that never disappoints. Thank you again, Jathan, for being such a wonderful and attentive host—your service makes every visit special! Mz. D

Location didn’t have a lot of items on the menu. There also was a $20 “Jordyn’s special” that’s online and they say it ended it December , that should be updated. Also a 20% gratuity for 2+ people. That’s a lot. We ended up leaving because they didn’t have a few menu items me and my party wanted.

We had 6:30 reservations and got sat right away but it was cold by the door so we had to keep coats on. Our server was clearly too busy so it took ~10mins for us to actually be addressed. The food is extremely overpriced plus an automatic 20% gratuity for parties of 2+. The baked chicken +2 sides is $30 and the catfish is $32. Food tasted great but took over an hour to get to us. Claims of the restaurant being upscale all on the website but they don’t even use cloth napkins, I received a plastic bottle of ginger ale for $3.50, and although very kind, the staff doesn’t dress or present as such. Very disappointed in my experience.

There was only tall tables available when I requested a standard level since I had a baby with me. We waited 30+ minutes to be greeted by our server. We didn’t get our appetizer until after an hour of being seated and our food was another 2 minutes after that. A 20% gratuity is automatic when you have 2 or more people so our server whom we barely saw got an automatic $30 tip. The food was really good so at least we didn’t wait 1.5 hours for nothing 😅 wouldn’t ever return to dine in but would order to go.

Food was great ,fresh and hot! Server Bobbie or Barbie she was wonderful! Only thing is the heat was not properly working we had to eat with our coats on.
