   Great service and excellent food no need to hit up the North end for any reason. Chef owner Scelfo seems to have the magic touch by adding this restaurant to his other 3 in Cambridge

   We had a reservation for 7pm and we were not seated until 7:45. Food was great but restaurant was totally overwhelmed!

   We had wonderful starters, pasta, and an eggplant entree; along with delicious wine and cocktails. However, the deep dish pizza had undercooked dough and way too much cheese!

   The food and drink is awesome! You will not be disappointed! It is busy so definitely make reservations. They do have a 10-minute grace period but we ended up missing it so we did wait about 30 minutes for a table to open up (for a party of 4). I’d definitely come here again and highly recommend!

   Tried Josephine's for the first time during the Dine-Out Boston event so had to have their 3 course meal special. For first course had the eggplant dish and did not like at all... way to garlicy for me, could not eat. For main course, I had the vodka sauce pasta and it is DELISH 11/10. My friend had the bolognese and it was also very yum. For dessert, tried the tiramisu and although it doesn't taste authentic like others I've had around Boston, it was pretty good.

   A definite drawback to this location is lack of parking. Alternatives is the use the hotel valet parking at $15. It is connected directly with a hotel, very convenient for visitors at the hotel. The restaurant is quite open, high ceilings and lots of windows with a large bar with seating spanning much of the length of the room. Our table was further from the bar affording easier conversation. The menu has a nice variety of healthy options, and the waitress was most helpful in assisting us with our selections. The Classic Pizza was delicious and the Caeser Salad outstanding...both items plenty for two to share. Hopefully, the next time we come, we'll be as lucky with parking as we were for this visit.

   I went to Josephine for a girls’ night and it was perfect! Cute space, not too loud, attentive server, delicious food, and great portions. We absolutely loved the rigatoni, spaghetti (with Fresno chiles, olive oil, etc.), fried artichoke hearts, and mozzarella sticks!

   This was my second visit to Josephine, by special request for my daughter's 14th birthday. I must say both the service and the food improved, which is great to see. Both of our pastas were al dente perfect and full of flavor. The Caesar salad was a little on the cold side but the flavor was great so that can be forgiven. The tiramisu was divinely rich and my promise to my daughter to only take one bite fell by the wayside as I snuck in two more.

    The food at Josephine was great but the service was not so great. The server warned us that cocktails would take longer than usual as the bartender was new. However it took the server 20 minutes just to come and take our order. Once the food started coming out things improved.
