Welcome to Jour, Inspired by Continental cafés and French flair, Jour is a mélange of old and new, a contemporary take on Vintage style. The bright light interior, reminiscent of days spent on the Mediterranean coast, sets a peaceful sunny ambience. At Jour Café it is eternally "Day".

Jour is located on Keele Street in Collingwood (next to CIBI), just off Smith Street.

Our modern take on the classic and beloved French cuisine has a strong focus on the environment and local produce. At Jour we will always source our ingredients from suppliers providing sustainably farmed produce, using organic when possible.

The menu is skillfully crafted by our head chef and features an imaginative, seasonal, and predominately plant-based selection of French influenced fare.

Alongside our a la carte menu, we offer a large variety of organic French style pastries, all made in house.

This cosy, beautiful cafe did not disappoint. We waited long for our food due to a big group before us. The food was worth the wait! We were given a piece of matcha madeleine for the 'inconvenience'. Lovely service. We will be back.

The set menu experience was more like a mystery box experience, because we were not told what was the special dish of the day (that we were supposed to be getting). We ended up getting potato gratins which tasted good but it took 20+ minutes for them to prep the dish. The price ($20+) was also a tad steep considering the main ingredients were potatoes and onions. The cafe was not particularly busy (less than 10 ppl). The desserts, pecan apple tarts, were better. However, once again, we didn't know until we got them.

They make the best poached eggs. Eggs cooked to perfection, sourdough toast crisp and hot, mushrooms and spinach very tasty. Consistent every time. Coffee excellent.

Extremely pleasant atmosphere with very friendly and attentive stafff. The food was superb and great coffee. I will certainly be returning thanks.

AMAZING! The food, the coffee, the ambience! The food is absolutely delicious. 😋 All the staff are so welcoming! Soup was delicious today, Coffee was so good. I will definitely be coming back.

Lovely cafe setting down Keele Street, just off busy Smith Street Collingwood. Delicious food, attentive service, great coffee and sweet things.
