   Our dining experience was a combination of a warm welcome on a rainy evening, well prepared meal and polished service by the staff especially our knowledgeable server, Angela. We’ll definitely return.

   From the original, interesting cocktails to the yummy desserts, we celebrated my husband’s 70th birthday with great style. I had a unique margarita, then a yummy appetizer with creamy cheese followed by the rock shrimp and bucatini. Delicious every bite. Hubs raved about his pork chop. We had a very competent, professional server. It was nice and quiet in the corner of the outside seating and plenty warm with the heaters.

   The menu offerings seem to have gotten far more precious with unlikely and unappetizing combinations of ingredients. I'm sorry we will be taking J&M off our list after some wonderful meals there in the past. The one positive about our experience this week was our waiter who was attentive and genuine.

   this restaurant offers good service and a smaller menu. i would say there is no specific food style, other than "California fusion". many different flavors combined and the menu is written for diners who know quite a lot about food, so it could be viewed as unapproachable to a more novice diner. you could expect to pay $50-80 a person dining here. i had heard quite a lot about this restaurant before dining here, which is sometimes a bad thing. while the restaurant wasn't as "amazing" as others had proclaimed, I'm having a hard time putting my finger on what felt off, perhaps it was my table with the chairs facing the kitchen entrance. maybe it was that i was drinking out of the smallest martini glass i had ever seen? hard to say. I'm sure they will continue to do well in this space, not many higher quality restaurants in the area.

   Amazing food with perfect execution and creative vibrancy. Great service paired with warm ambience enhanced our experience even more. Our favorite was the grilled pork with braised savoy cabbage, chanterelles, and pear purée. Perfectly juicy and seasoned, paired with the right amount of sweetness, acidity, and umami. Churros were also the best and most unique ones. They were slightly custardy in the middle and served with a rich and sweet/savory miso caramel sauce.
