Kabul House offers a taste of authentic Afghan cuisine. Our extensive menu includes lamb, seafood, beef & chicken dishes as well as vegetarian specialties that include pumpkin, eggplant, spinach & other fresh vegetable options. Our menu hosts a large variety of selections fit for anyone, from vegetarians to meat lovers alike. In most of our recipes, a limited amount of fresh spices & seasonings are used to season the dish in order to create a sensational taste that is not too overwhelming. This makes our Afghan cuisine very enjoyable for anyone & everyone. The atmosphere we provide for our patrons is one of which would be produced in our homes, relaxing, invitingly warm & unforgettable. Food was great, even though we waited for than 15 mins for our table with a reservation. Also it was a little loud, too bad they don’t have a bar. It’s BYOB so plan accordingly.

Arrived for 7pm reservation and was seated promptly. This was my first time dining at the restaurant, but my dining companion eats there often. Ordered Mantoo and an eggplant appetizer, which were very good. The entrees are served on large plates and have very generous portion of rice, more than I can eat. We tried chicken sultan dish and filet mignon shish kabob. My favorite bites were the Chicken Koobidah skewer and the appetizers ! I’ll go again to try a few more dishes.

Usually vey good food. The lentil soup, as always, was excellent, The lamb shank was a bit dry, as was the spectacular Kabul rice, which benefitted from the extra sauce I requested of two busboys who looked at me like I was crazy, but which the waiter, Jorge, graciously suppled. So, foodwise, a strong 4/ On the service side, twas a bit jumbled. The bus boy delivered our main courses before my lentil soup, A language problem was clear, since he understood nothing, and I had to talk to two busboys before I got Jorge;s attention, who removed our main courses and delivered the soup. The busboys also could not describe the characteristics of the two sauces we were served, again accomplished by the talented Jorge. My friend had the lamb Kabob which was excellent, at an ordered medium rare and superbly done. Last, Kabul's excellent Naan is no more, having been replaced by some other bread like dry thing. New management, apparently. A mixed experience. I will go back, loyal customer for many years.

Dining at Kabul House is consistently excellent. This was the first time that we went there for lunch. You will have a choice of ordering from the regular dinner menu or a special lunch menu which offered a variety of the restaurant’s delicious appetizers, salads, and entrees in smaller portions( we still took home leftovers!!) at reduced prices. Lunch was an excellent value and a very pleasant dining experience.

Excellent Afghan cuisine that is both delicious and beautifully presented. Vegetarian friendly. The service is attentive and gracious. The ambience is calm and cheery. Highly recommend!
