   The food was exellent and we will return for sure. It will probably be our new "go to" spot for us and when we have guests to take out.

   A very eclectic group of patrons. Families students friends and datenighters. Very welcoming atmosphere. Excellent attentive friendly service made for a lovely comfortable evening.

   The food and drink was outstanding, but the service was terrible. The server just put the dishes on the table without identifying it, leaving it to us to figure out what it was and who ordered it.

   Our waitress Chasity was so sweet, very efficient and informative of the menu. She made our experience comfortable and the food and drinks are always chefs kiss :)

   Shokudo is a great restaurant to dine for lunch. I have dined there with friends and classmates several times. However, there was no monthly special today, which some of us were looking forward to, but we still all enjoyed our lunches. Thank you for the complimentary scoop of ice cream for our birthday lady. Service was fast and orders were accurate. Our server was very friendly and efficient.

   Good food as always! Just note that the more crowded the restaurant is, the slower the food comes out, so factor that in when making a reservation.

   I went twice this past week. It’s very close to our house, but the first time I tried it I wasn’t particular impressed. It’s been a couple years, so I decided to give it another chance. When we went earlier this week, we took a party of 6 and had a great time! Our waitress was wonderful as was the food. We were there a couple hours and enjoyed ourselves the whole time. This inspired me to book again for a work dinner on Saturday. (I do a lot of lunch and dinner business meetings in the area.) I made the reservation for 4 pm and the place was mostly empty. Despite this, I felt totally rushed out around 5 pm. I don’t think I’ll be returning again soon for any business meetings. Food is good, but the service seems to be very inconsistent. That’s enough to inspire me to take my business (literally) elsewhere. There are too many better nearby options.

    Soba dishes were tasty, unique and well prepared…had the Ume, Shiso, Natto cold soba with side maguro donburi … for dessert the Honey Toast was good treat
