Good food and stories are the golden threads that connect us in life. At Kai’s Songbird on the ground floor of the Corinthia Yacht Club, you’ll find a place to share both — as well as destination dining unique to Qatar.

As the sister restaurant to London icon Kai of Mayfair, Kai’s Songbird’s signature ‘liberated Nanyang cooking’ style has a global reputation, combining authenticity with culinary daring to create fusion experiences that define modern Chinese cuisine.

Kai’s Songbird sings from a new bough for the first time in Doha in a stunning glass-fronted restaurant whose aesthetics evoke the natural beauty of a conservatory. Here, light lunches and relaxed dinners of flavours — at once familiar and intriguing — are enjoyed, against the soft patter of conversation and the scent of herbs, creating a balance of sensory joy and moments to savour.

                                                                                                        it was my fiancée’s birthday and we decided to have a nice dinner at the restaurant. the food was amazing and looked so good. the restaurant is very beautiful with great ambience. the staff was amazing too!

                                                                                                        The place has a stunning ambiance and the interior design is high class. Both inside and outside look absolutely great. We had a simple choice within the menu and that was quite good. We took the starter with duck, chicken basil, fried rice, and the scallops dish which was more than enough. The presentation of the plates was good and very efficient. Waiting time was within 10-15 minutes for the food to arrive. The food is tasty and portion size is sufficient. To be honest, the food itself is not super exquisite, but that makes it also very good as it does feel very well prepared. All-in all it was really good, and we will be glad to visit again.

                                                                                                        The decor is outstanding! The food was great, but was always served with too much Soy, which made it overpowering. Next time, I'll just stop them from pouring the Soy. That being said, the food itself is exquisite. Had wasabi prawns and duck salad, and I recommend. We were in doha on a holiday, and it was a beautiful way to end it. The pictures will serve forever. ♥️
