One of the first Japanese restaurants in Vancouver, our company has been operating since 1972!
Truly a hidden gem!
Tucked away behind Broadway Plaza, is a fascinating restaurant that offers delicious food and great deals on drinks. Sweeping panoramic views of downtown while seated in unique Japanese Tatami rooms or private booths. Featuring an innovative signature menu with items such as the Uni Cream Udon. Kamei on Broadway uses the highest quality seafood selected by our specially trained Japanese chefs. We pride ourselves in using only the freshest ingredients to ensure our customer’s satisfaction.

always good spot for jap food. Happy hour till 6.30 pm. Service excellent, Raymond is the best.

It was a wonderful outing for the four of us, with great food and drinks, and courteous & attentive service throughout the evening. We reserved and were seated in a Tatami Room, which provided a semi-private atmosphere from the main restaurant crowd, and we liked that a lot. The Happy Hour Menus offered discounts on popular items, along with a huge choice of selections from the Regular Menu to please everyone's taste buds. I can't wait to go back for more.

The food exceeded our expectation! The sashimi omakase is very good with the happy hour deal! We also love the wagyu beef sushi. Highly recommend this place!
