A landmark experience. A dining and drinking destination. A historic tradition. Since its inception, the Kaufman House has been a gathering place for travelers, neighbors and friends. Today, Kaufman Tavern continues and updates the tradition, providing a warm welcome, restorative libations and a fun, comfortable, exquisite dining experience.     Daniel, our waiter, was wonderful. He was very attentive. We advised him that we were on a time schedule because we were going to an event. Daniel made sure our meal was delivered in time for us to meet our schedule. He was very personable snd knowledgeable. We had a reservation and our table was ready within 5 minutes of our reservation time. Very good meal.

    Service was excellent Food—questionable I ordered risotto Not creamy Just rice with a few flakes of corn and bacon Not tasty Shrimp bisque was actually creamy tomato soup Ill give them another try at some point

    All the food that we ordered was delicious! Kara (I think that was her name) was an excellent waitress and paid attention to detail. I had a special order (no Cajun on my Salmon) and the kitchen was great at preparing it my way!

    We enjoyed meeting relatives at the Kaufman Tavern for Sunday Brunch. It is a very comfortable environment and our server, Gabby was great. The brunch menu has so many options with great variations of Eggs Benedict. The Andouille breakfast sandwich was very tasty and the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict was very good.

    Kaufman Tavern is a delightful experience. we had a reservation and ate in the dining room. Food is wonderfully prepared and well portioned. Our server, Alyson, was friendly and nicely attentive. We will be returning.

    Ordered the “wild mushroom/spinach/ricotta omelette” and I think most of the mushroom’s in it were not wild ones but mostly store-bought regular mushrooms so that was disappointing. I didn’t really enjoy my meal however, everyone else seemed to like theirs.
