Served an almost raw hamburger after an excessive wait. Different server appeared with the re-cook and said it would be taken off the check (it wasn't, had to ask). Also had to ask for water refill. Someone at our table asked for S&P (twice) and the shakers were set down on the opposite side of the table (intentionally?) Checks were returned to opposite cardholders. So sad that such a lovely place has so many execution problems.

We really enjoy coming to the Kauffman Tavern, because we love the atmosphere both in the restaurant and in Zelienople at Chrustmas. The food is very good, albeit a bit expensive. The service is always great. The Winter Sangria was delicious!

My lamb was perfectly cooked but could have used more glaze or sauce. and my husband said his halibut was the best he has had so far

Only problem was the cheese filled fritters . I wasn’t sure what it was as when I bit into it it was an empty fried shell. I asked the waitress and she laughed saying it was supposed to be cheese filled. She did not offer a replacement. It’s a little thing, but a quality issue that should have been acknowledged in some way. The rest of the meals were great and plentiful.

The crab cakes were outstanding and service was on point. Relaxing dinner and excellent food. The half Caesar salad at $5 is a steal!

Our meal was great! There were a couple of items "not available" because a large Holiday party was taking place, but the server did a great job of guiding us to other options. The dessert, a Maple Pecan Blondie, was the absolute highlight of the dinner - make sure you save room!
