    The DJ sound quality was great but the choice of music was most of the time not upbeat; no wonder that for the first 2 hours nobody danced and when people started to dance the choice of music disinvited them. I had booked one extra ticket for a friend who was not able to come and days before I contacted the management asking for refund or a coupons, they flatly denied without trying to find ways and when we arrived at the restaurant, I asked again to sell that single spot to walk-in guests they denied again. Even I asked to give me some free drinks in lieu to the unused $110, they didn't budge. Another point is that they used very small plates (way too small) for the buffet and the sort of food. The food was good though.

    This was my 3rd time back to Kava and we still love it so much! Luigi was amazing at the bar and Daniel was a great server. The management staff and hostess was friendly and welcoming!

    Had my birthday brunch here and the staff was great! Mariachi band was a lot of fun, food was really good as well! Great spot for larger parties for celebrations!

    I went to celebrate my birthday with a party of 10 people . It took forever just to get waters . I was the first to order my food and never received it . The waitress never came back to check on the table and by the time we called someone over my boyfriend and I had shared his meal and I was no longer hungry . The manager brushed us off initially when we flagged him down . When he came back he just offered me a desert . I declined the desert and entree because we were heading out after dinner and I was not carrying around a to go bag for the reminder of the evening . This is also the second time this has happened to a large party I was included in . My friend also ordered the birthday shots they are known for as they do a fun presentation with sparklers and a personalized sign . When they brought mine out they did not do the sign for me . When I questioned the waitress about it she said they were setting the sign up for another group and wouldn’t let her use it for me . I was very disappointed over all .

    We apologize that the server made a mistake and left out your entree order. The manager at the time was assisting another guest in ordering with a severe allergy and coordinating that with our kitchen for their safety. He did offer to bring out the entree free of charge or bring a dessert, which was declined. Once he learned your party ordered shots, so he took care of yours. Our birthday package is available with the purchase of the Sundae el Carnavale only.
