   Initial impression was good. We were seated at a nice outside table as requested. Our Server was also the Bartender. Perhaps that explains the gaps for not checking up on us regularly ???? The food was just OK, not bad but not up to 5th Ave. usual standards. We would not give them another try.

   Our first time at Keewaydins was overall fair. The service was good but we felt the restaurant was short staffed - eg desserts and after dinner drinks arrived at staggering times - not horrible but just seemed to show they were a bit understaffed for a busy Saturday night. The food was up and down also - the beet salad was one of the best I’ve ever had! And the tenderloin skewers appetizer was very tasty if a bit small. No one’s meals arrived hot - lukewarm at best. The mahi mahi was very dry and fairly flavorless. The fillet with lobster was very tasty. The grouper and chips for two diners were not hot and didn’t taste or look like grouper - very thin and just not great. The beignets were delicious - and very hot! And the key lime pie was v good and a large portion with tasty meringue - it arrived several minutes after the beignets as did a dessert martini. Just very uneven food and service - which probably was due to understaffing - it’s tough for a restaurant to get back on track once the kitchen gets “in the weeds”.

   Four of us dined at Keewaydin Friday night and had a fabulous time! We were seated in the front room by an open large window and enjoyed looking out and seeing the vibe of 5th Avenue. It was not noisy. The outdoor seating is also a great space. Our waiter was great! We all had straight up martinis and cosmopolitans and they were served in a chilled glass and were icy cold. There were ice chips floating in the drink, just how I like it. Everyone LOVED their dinners. My husband and sister in law had seared Ahi Tuna. The flavor was great and the tuna cooked to perfection. My brother had the Sea Bass and said it was excellent. I had the grouper with crab on it. We are in Naples 6 months out of the year. It was the best entree I have had since we have been down here this season. It was piping hot and the flavors blended beautifully. The presentation was lovely. I seldom write reviews but I thought this dinner experience needed mentioning. It far exceeded any of our expectations. We were there last year when it first opened and it was just okay. They have really gotten their act together. I highly recommend this restaurant.

   A good choice for seafood on 5th. The oysters are excellent and a great deal. The miso sea bass was good. Grouper and chips are good as well.

   It was fairly good. Portions should have been larger for the price. My food was not at the correct temperature. Service overall was fair. Not as good as Yabba used to be

   Been a few months since we’ve been…same amount of people (2 adults 4 kids), food price up…last year bill was $240 including drinks, last night it was $360 with only one adult glass of wine…big increase in menu prices and food was so so, as well as small food portions. Also $33 for one glass of Sancerre is ridiculous, so is $45 for a small crab cake. Still tipped 22% as service was great but I would rather spend $440 elsewhere.

    Great food and atmosphere. Service was outstanding. Will definitely add it to our list of “must go” restaurants
