   We were greeted with a glare and an attitude from the hostess. That really rubbed me the wrong way knowing I was going to spend over $300 at dinner that night. Had table reservations and were asked if we would just like to sit at the bar. This was on Valentines Day, I had made the reservations 3 weeks ago…no I don’t want to sit at the bar. The Chef did a good job with the food and our waiter Eric helped the experience get better for us throughout the night. But, it was really loud and The Chophouse didn’t do anything to make the environment special for Valentine’s Day. On top of that, I used the mens restroom and when I flushed the urinal (one flush) it overflowed and splashed nasty on my boots. The bathroom was awful. Maybe I had too high of expectations. Heres the bullet points… The Good: 1. Waiter Eric was great 2. Food was cooked as requested and was good The Bad: 1. Food is overpriced 2. Hostess was rude 3. Really loud 4. Décor was below similar local steakhouses. 3. Urinal overflow and mens bathroom was nasty This is honest feedback from a local 7 year Keller resident. I just stick with Shotzee’s and Icehouse next door.

   Hi Josh! Thank you for your review. I want to address a few issues you had with your last night's dining experience. I want to apologize for my hostess "glaring" at you or giving you an unpleasant attitude upon arrival. I understand your frustration with making a reservation three weeks ago and asking if you would like to sit in the bar. This entire week we have had to use every table in our restaurant and we were reserving booths in the bar area for guests with reservations. Any other night our bar is open seating. We indeed made an effort to make the environment special. We added a balloon arch for pictures amongst many other Valentine's Day decorations. Unfortunately, you are right... we did have plumbing problems in our men's restroom, which we took care of asap

   Overall a very good place, food was great. It was a little cramped far as sitting, but I believe they were trying to accommodate a lot because it was Valentine’s Day

   We wanted to try something different and The Keller ChopHouse was a satisfying experience. The food was quite good as was the service from Duwey. It was a bit crowed, so much so that we felt we were dining with a group of people, they apparently added tables for the Valentine holiday date night. I'm guessing it is not always as tightly packed as it was this night. Also as expected, it is not cheap as it is definitely a high class SteakHouse. The food certainly was. We had filets that were perfectly cooked along with sides of Cream Corn and Au Gratin Potatoes. Cocktails and a glass of house Cab made for perfect additions.

   We had a reservation and came in and got sat down. Once we were sat down we had I had a reservation and was seated promptly, which was a good start. However, things quickly went downhill. We waited 30 minutes without even receiving our drinks. The waitress didn’t bother to offer anything besides water, and we had to ask if they even had other drink options. After 45 minutes of being there, we only received our appetizer and still no drinks, so we decided to leave. When the waitress handed us the check, she made a snarky comment, saying, “Fine dining takes 30-45 minutes, just so y’all know,” which came off as extremely rude. Additionally, the tables were uncomfortably close to each other, making the whole experience feel cramped. Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and I wouldn’t recommend this place based on this experience

   He sat on the bar side, which has an outstanding ambiance. The four-person tables are a bit tight but cozy. The drinks and Service were excellent, and the appetizers were fantastic; however, the price was just a little bit high.

   Went here for the first time because they were having a special for the local Daddy-Daughter dance and the steak was great, service was great and next time I’ll bring the wife instead of the 4 year old!

   We’ve been several times and the experience always exceeds the last. This time we brought our 4 kiddos(17,15,12,10) to get a fine dining meal and to Celebrate their dad’s birthday. The staff went above and beyond to treat my kids with respect, kindness and genuine enjoyment. In return my foodie kiddos all raved not only about the delicious food, cooked perfectly to their specs ( the 12yrolds “medium rare plus” request earned a smile) but also about how nice the waitress and managers were. We will be back:) the scallops and risotto will forever me my last meal request. It’s the BEST thing I’ve tasted and I get it everytime. It never fails to be perfect!
