Located in the heart of historic Fairfax City, Kelly's Oyster House & Bar offers fresh, vibrant sea fare from the Atlantic Ocean and Chesapeake Bay. Situated just across the street from the City of Fairfax's courthouse and two blocks from the town square, Kelly's is the perfect restaurant for all occasions. Whether you're grabbing a drink with friends or celebrating a birthday, wedding, or anniversary, we at Kelly's are excited to see you!

Kelly's boasts two cozy front dining rooms, as well as a large "Maine" bar and an oyster bar. On warmer days, our covered front patio is open to walk-ins. Furry friends are invited to join us in our outdoor space, but we ask that they stay leashed and with their owners at all times.

Kelly's is owned and operated by Bill Hamrock and was established in the spring of 2024, and is a sister restaurant to Hamrock's Restaurant in Fairfax City.

Food was pretty good-could use a little more flavor in deviled eggs and some of the sauces. But overall flavors were very nice and the value was very good. We'll be back. Service and atmosphere were great.

Great dinner with friends. The menu had ala carte choices and a 3 course dinner option. I had the she crab soup for my appetizer & it was delicious! Ou server was very good too.

The food and service were very nice. My daughter and I were celebrating a birthday and having dinner after a movie. When we made the reservations at 9:30, we weren't aware that the kitchen closed at 10:00. The restaurant is open until 11:00, which is why we choose this one and its proximity to the theatre. We also loved the oysters!

First time eating here, we went for happy hour, sat on front porch - traffic is a little loud periodical but it was a beautiful day so I got to enjoy being outside. We went specifically for the oysters on the half shell. They were pretty good, nice and fresh and served really cold, which is perfect. Happy hour. Prices were good. Service was very good.

The service was great. Avery was knowledgeable and helped us out on some of our selections. Oysters were great were great highly recommend.

The oysters and foods are good. Service is slow and not quite up to it. The price is right. We were in there for an early dinner so it wasn’t crowded or noisy. Will give it another try a few weeks from now and hopefully the service has improved.
