Long wait. Sushi filled with crab meat even sashimi style which takes away the taste and makes it very sweet. Overpriced for the quality.

The sushi was amazing! We tried the gyoza and several rolls which were all delicious. My favorites were the Volcano and the Ribeye Campfire. Our server, Catherine (sp?), was knowledgeable about the offerings and the service was awesome. Ambiance was nice. Will definitely return.

I love this place. The sushi is fantastic, and the staff is friendly and professional. The ambiance is great for gathering with friends and enjoying a conversation without screaming over music or loud customers. The decor is intimate yet homey and relaxing.

Sushi was excellent!! We had wine. Very good! Apps and dessert was excellent! Very modern appearance! Service was great. We are visiting Tampa and would return when we come back.

We had an amazing experience at Kelp this past Saturday! We weee a table of 9 women and had the best cozy booth table that was perfect for us. Our server, Charlie was phenomenal! He was so nice, personable, fun, gave us recommendations and gave us amazing service. He made our night even more special! The food was outstanding and the best sushi I’ve had in a ver long time. Hope we can come back soon!

Love Kelp! Our server was excellent! She remembered that we like the low sodium soy sauce and brought it out before we even asked for it. The food is always fresh.

The restaurant had about 6 people in there and 10 staff. Were seated, took 15 min for server to get our drink order. Waited 20 min for apps, edamame were subpar and the dumplings tasted like water. She forgot our drinks and had to be reminded 5 min after the apps were dropped off. Main course was just okay, nothing special. Yakisoba had no flavor and the sushi pieces were small in comparison to other places. The servers did not do their jobs at all, they were too busy arguing with each other behind the counter and texting. The fact we were there for 1.5 hours and only ordered 4 small things is crazy to me…especially for sub-par food that I could get better at Publix. I would never go back here, complete waste of time and money.
