The staff at Kelsey's Bowmanville were friendly, efficient and attentive. I'd asked for a table that a person with a walker could easily access, and they chose one ideally situated. Although our party found that the onion rings and crab cakes had too much outside crunch, the food was fresh, hot and well-presented. Given the cost of food these days, we felt the meals were favourably priced. One of our parties asked for some changes to be made to her meal choice, and this was accommodated graciously and without fuss. We did notice that there was a limited choice for someone who is lactose intolerant - much of the menu includes cheese or creamed sauces. Nonetheless, overall, it was a pleasant evening of good food in a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Kudos to our server, Sarah. We will definitely return.

The manager who seated us was so miserable looking. We had a reservation, we asked for booth and even though there were several open she said no. The waitress was very nice just slow and the food was TERRIBLE, especially one of the appetizers from the holiday menu. The chicken taquitos were soggy and cold and just horrible. The service was super slow and for what we paid, it was disappointing and we won't go back.

Although Shelby was very friendly, she was overworked. There were not enough staff to accommodate the guests. TV's were not functioning either - waited about an hour for a wrap and some fries... Wont be returning for some time.

Unfortunately our experience at this Kelsey’s wasn’t great. Our server was quite nice but took our order down wrong, even after she confirmed what we ordered. We were there for a fairly early dinner and we waited quite a while for our food only for the order to be wrong. The management did come over to apologize and assured us that the food would be out soon. It did take a while for the food to come out again. The food was good but we were annoyed by the wait. They did comp a small dessert for the child in our party to make up for the mix up (2 dollar value). Overall, I probably wouldn’t go back to this location based on this experience.

Overall good place. Was a little disappointed because it was Valentines Day. There was a bottle of wine deal that night. My Fiancé had wine but we were not offered the deal…before a glass was poured. Food was good our service was good….I just think the over sight happened due to the fact the server was also the bartender that evening.

Husband’s French fries and vegetable cold but steak was excellent. He was asked if wanted to send it back but said no. Steak was excellent and there for the meat!
