A creation of Chef Danny Grant and Chef Hari Chan, Kessaku offers elegant sushi made with fresh, globally sourced fish and warm artisanal rice. The menu showcases an array of nigiri, sashimi and rolls from the very traditional to the unexpected.

Kessaku, which means masterpiece in Japanese, boasts 360-degree views of the Dallas skyline from the historic observation deck at the top of The National. One of my favorite date night restaurants. View is breathtaking and food is so good!! The drinks are good too and service is great Alexis really was amazing!

Alexis was our server, she made out first time dining experience an amazing and unforgettable one! Definitely coming back soon and recommending Kessaku to friends and family. The food was amazing, we trusted her recommendations and we do not regret it one bit!

Great experience as first-timers. Dishes were minimal for sushi but were perfectly done. Thought the best part of the experience was walking around the 50th floor and viewing 360deg of Dallas from downtown.

We arrived at the 49th floor and there were no signs designating where to go for the restaurant. Once we went up a floor to the hostess desk there was nobody there. After a long while a lady came out and seemed to give my girlfriend and I a cold shoulder. We were told that the view was open and the bar and they would come find us once our table was ready. We went and sat at an empty table to observe the view. We were rudely asked to leave the table and they said it was a “miscommunication”. Our waitress was rude and barely did anything but bring our drinks. The buss boy did the best job and was the nicest person there. Everyone seemed fake and acted outrageously entitled and gave my girlfriend and I negative judgmental looks.

Kessaku is always a win for us. The service was particularly outstanding during our last visit. Alexis was truly a standout! Her recommendations hit every time on both drinks and food. She consistently checked in and had us laughing each time. Her high level of service enhanced the wonderful experience we have every time we visit Kessaku.
