   This is a beautiful restaurant in a historic building in busy central location in Soho. We found the staff friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere fun and buzzy. The drinks we ordered were excellent but took a very long time to arrive. As for food, the menu is quite short which is generally a good sign, but at 7.30 on a Saturday evening we were told that two of the approximately 8 main courses were unavailable. One of these was the only vegetarian dish we which had wanted to order and we were not offered an alternative, only fish. For dessert two of our party were strongly recommended to order an option that after a long wait we were eventually told was also unavailable. Overall we had an enjoyable time, the food was good but not exceptional, only let down by the slow service.

   Delicious food and great service. It’s a bit noisy, but nevertheless perfectly fine even if you are a party of two. Strongly recommend it

    The staff were attentive; the ambience was quiet and pleasant. It was not a busy lunchtime. I had a steak frites dish. The steak was good, but the fries were overcooked and were like eating crisps. They should never have left the kitchen. I mentioned this to a staff member, and I was asked if I wanted something else. At this point, we were finishing the meal, so a replacement portion would not have made sense. For this type of establishment, the fries should be top-notch. Shame.
