KIBOU Japanese restaurant and bar in Cambridge is a chic new addition to the city, and the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely lunch or dinner.
Located at 7a Jesus Lane, home to the Pitt Club, and formerly Pizza Express, the venue features eye-catching murals and digital animations, alongside stunning Japanese floral and foliage installations.
Light and airy, The Mirror Room centres around a large Japanese cherry blossom tree, whilst the seductive Oak Room focuses on a large wisteria tree set against a backdrop of plush fabrics and artwork.
There’s also a relaxed cocktail lounge and dining area, featuring an open sushi and hot kitchen, and a standalone spirits and cocktail bar.
The menu has all your favourite dishes from Japan, including steaming bowls of ramen, a selection of bao buns, crisp tempura and handmade spiced pork gyoza, plus work of art sushi and sashimi sharing platters, seasonal specials and A5 Grade Japanese wagyu.
Their Japanese-inspired afternoon tea is a must try too!

    Came before for afternoon tea and loved food so much I recommended it for me and my friend for dinner. Our waiter was gorgeous so helpful and friendly! Food stunning!

    From booking the table, the service, the food and the bill all were outstanding. I'm from London, and have never been to Cambridge, but I will be coming back again later in the year.

    Great food and decor. We went for Mother’s Day with my wife and daughter (7). The staff were very friendly and made our daughter comfortable and helped with food suggestions for her. We as adults really enjoyed it.

    Everything about the venue is lovely! Only thing is we felt a bit stuffed away in the corner and didn't get much in terms of check backs. We ordered the premium chefs choice sushi and sashimi but didnt get information on what we received. Felt quite let down about what we got for the price.
