   Was lovely little place. Lots of people have told me to go. I have been to many places in brighton for food. I placed my order and unfortunately they missed off my olives. I did not want to make a fuss. The main came we had the mid week sharing platter. The mushroom sauce was completely split so was not edible and the steak was a little over cooked. Still lovely but maybe just little tweaks and it would be great.

   The service was excellent, the food also. It was delightful sitting at the counter, conversing with Chef and assistant. Overall an entirely pleasant experience, one that I would definitely repeat again the next time I am in Brighton

   Excellent sharing roast experience! We would come back to Brighton just to dine in here. The service was outstanding, I didn’t get our waiters name but he was outstanding! Super knowledgeable and also he kept making us (and other tables) laugh! Thank you kindling for making our anniversary celebration so great!

   Great staff and service, the sharing roast was AMAZING!!! crispy potatoes, lots of beef, huge yorkies and delicious veg! I’m defo coming back!

   Overall it was soooo good. The food was AMAZING. One of the best restaurants in Brighton. The pulled brisket sandwich was AMAZING as well as the steaks and the cabbage. The ambience is so nice but the food did take quite a while to come but to be fair it was so busy so that’s understable. But I would 100% recomend and will be going often.

   So delicious and innovative throughout. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection (Ribeye which I highly recommend), the sides were creative and tasty and the waiting staff were incredible and attentive. Extra thanks to Archie for cooking the amazing food and keeping us entertained at the bar whilst we ate. Definitely returning again… and again… and again.
