Kindred has good food. Risotto is a great choice. It’s loud on game day.

Our server was incredible patient and kind with my 10 month old daughter on our first dad and daughter dinner date. He checked in on us, provided extra plates and spoons and even took our picture for us. He did an outstanding job .

Food was not up to the usual standard for this restaurant. Seemed like an off night for the kitchen. Usually excellent food.

It's the perfect spot for a business lunch, with a great food selection and quick and fast service. I love going to Kindred, especially when Natalia manages; you always get extra treats that make you want to return for more!! Thank you for doing something special for us, lovely touch.

The info on open table was not honoured at the restaurant they claimed they quit the appetivo offer a long time ago but open table didn’t take it down. Manager offered a free appie instead but wouldn’t honor the happy hour time. The hamburger wasn’t good was like 2 slider patties put in a bun that was too big. Every little thing asked for like chip dip as no gravy was possible was at an additional charge on the bill but not told to. Was less than impressed overall.

Oilers game night on NYE. Was hectic but good service. Food was delicious and they were friendly to the kids.

We chose Kindred specifically for the Holiday Menu because the two choices looked appealing. It was overpriced compared to their other special occasion menus and the regular menu, specifically the dessert was $20, instead of their usual $12-$13. For this Christmas dinner there was no bread offered, no welcome Prosecco, no cookie, bon bon, or mint with the bill. They neglected to offer us the Apertivo menu /cocktail pricing. The food was delicious and well prepared. The service was professional, attentive (because the restaurant was almost empty) and friendly. They missed an opportunity to knock it out of the park, or even make it feel like a special Christmas meal in ANY way. I expected better from a restaurant in a 4 star hotel. The experience was just okay, but there are so many other choices with excellent food in Edmonton that will either have that special touch or be more realistically priced for what you're getting. I don't know if I would go back. Definitely not for an overpriced holiday menu.

I wasn’t sure about this hotel restaurant due to some reviews that focused on service. Were were there 1.5 hours before an Oiler game and the service was great. Food was delicious and was happy with the portion size. Short rib risotto was very good, the portion size was slightly small. Kale salad and two pizzas were also really good. The food coming out around us looked very good with big portion sizes on the pasta and sandwiches. Very good overall.
