On October 4th, 2022 the Dutch red windmill opened her doors to Fred & Diana.

Diana is known for Diana's Pancakes, across Barcelo and before that, she was the owner of a similar pancake place next to the mill.

Fred is known for his former restaurants Chef's Tables, 2 Fools and a Bull and Fred Restaurant in downtown Oranjestad.

The two decided to work together and King Fred & Princess Diana was born. Diana delights guests with Dutch pancakes in the morning, while Fred takes the reins in the evening, serving a diverse range of international cuisine for dinner.

On the second floor you will find our souvenir shop that can be visited anytime upon request.

The third floor belongs to Frans, who is a well known bartender in the Aruban hospitality industry. He will serve you cold drinks for a reasonable price.

Located a bit off the beaten path, yet not too far. The taxi ride was only $8 from the Holiday Inn. The restaurant is in a windmill with a bar on top. We had the sea bass and it was amazing. The food came hot after a short wait. The staff was top notch. Nice that reservations can be made! We will go back on our next visit to Aruba.

Went over for Valentine's dinner, and once again, had a good meal. My wife tried the chicken masala, which she liked. I enjoyed my Asian chicken, which they made without the oyster sauce. The severs were friendly, checked back to make sure things were good, but did auction off the food. Prices are par for the course for a fine dining restaurant on the island, and it's well worth stopping by.

My husband said it was the best chicken he has ever had in 69 years. Very tender and moist not dry at all. I had the chicken cordon bleu and it likewise was very juicy and the breading was excellent. We can’t forget the apple pie, absolutely the best! One of the owner’s went out of her way to help us out. She was so accommodating and went out of her way to help us! We will be back before we leave to go home.

It was a wonderful meal, Fred is a master of chicken dishes. And all the staff were very warm and welcoming. Cool bar at the top of the windmill.
