We love this place! Having been to Germany & Austria a few times we love the culture,cuisine and of course the amazing beers which are all available at King Ludwig’s. Adi the new owner being Austrian himself has really brought that authenticity and culture to the restaurant. It’s really like you’re at a German / Austrian Gasthof complete with the most stunning views.

Wow, if you want a truly authentic German Restaurant experience King Ludwigs is where to go. The staff are so welcoming, and you get amazing service. The food is incredible, so delicious and so authentic. The ambience is again authentic, and you really feel you are in Germany. The view of Maleny from the deck is magnificent. This is truly the place to go. We've been here at least a dozen times and with the change of ownership the quality of the food, and the atmosphere and staff is still outstanding.

Always a special place to come when in Maleny. Gorgeous food with lots of gluten free options. Great range of drink options too. Service was amazing. Bonus of a visit from a friendly possum!

A great restaurant with enjoyable German cuisine. The potato soup was nice and tasty, but could have been a little thicker. Wiener Schnitzel was very good and so was the Jaeger Schnitzel. I recommend this restaurant.

The food was very nice and tasty, well seasoned and a great portion size where my partner was able to take her remaining meal home. The staff were more then accommodating and very friendly, and the setting was incredible, beautiful views.
