   The overall experience was okay. We made a reservation, but still had to wait, though the manager kindly offered us a free drink while we waited, which was appreciated. We ordered the smoked duck and tempura (see attached photo), but the portion sizes were surprisingly small. Then, we waited a long time for our main dish, which turned out to be underwhelming. The server mentioned that it was shareable, but even with that in mind, we found the portions to be quite lacking. We understand the restaurant was busy, but the food just didn’t seem to justify the wait or the price. Disappointing overall, unfortunately.

   Food very bland and tasteless. Service was good and overall fun atmosphere. Good place for after drinks but would not recommend for food.

   Great sushi and shrimp tempura. Wasn’t as big of a fan of the udon carbonara but everything else was great The vibe was also lots of fun! Tons of celebratory sake shots and birthday wishes at other tables

   The good: -Food, for the most part, was very good. -Staff were extremely friendly. -Decor is really nice. -Drinks were delicious The not so good: -Big Prawn Tempura were not good we'll and very chewy, almost like rubber. Maybe it was just a bad batch but probably won't order again. -The Sake Bomb celebrations are too frequent and very loud. During my dinner they did it like 5 times and it was really disruptive and annoying after a while. I was over it to be honest. All in all, a great restaurant with great food and drinks. If you could handle the loud celebrations, you'll love this place.

   Delicious meal, fun atmosphere despite being more calm than it used to be. Enjoyed our meal but the service was a little neglectful. We would have liked to order additional drinks and dishes but couldnt get service sitting at the counter. Not the best night I’ve had here.

    The new menu is not even close in quality to the old Guu, very disappointing. Will not return
