   This was my first experience at K&K. I wanted to support a BOB. Upon arrival I was pleasantly pleased with the beautiful decor. The flower walls are beautiful back drops for pictures. The staff was attentive. The place was clean. Amazing Dj playing a mix of music. Now onto the not so pleasant parts of my visit. I order a Moscow Mule and there was hair in the drink. Sent that back and got another, no issues there. My gripe is the pricing of the food. I feel that it is a little overpriced for what you are getting. There is a 20% gratuity that is automatically charged even for a party of 2. I do appreciate that the food was seasoned and prepared well. I will return to this establishment but it is not high on my must do list. Tweak your pricing for your food. If you need an example of overpriced food items. I ordered a side of scrambled eggs, 2 to be exact. 2 eggs cost me $11. That is ridiculous. You can get 3 dozen of eggs for that price.

   One thing I don’t understand is why make reservations and still have to wait over an hour to be seated. Me and my guest had to wait outside in the cold for an hour and 30 mins was not allowed to wait inside because it was so busy. When we got seated the service was pretty fast but the food was not so great but overall the place is nice and pretty loved the dj he did his thing just a long wait and food not so good at all.

   I really enjoyed the service and the food. The fried catfish, mac and cheese were really good. My homegirl got the black eye peas and she said that were really good as well. Drinks are high however that's expected for the area it is in. Dennis my server was really knowledgeable about the menu and what to try.

   Our server, Cameron, was a delight to converse with and gave great recommendations. The jerk lamb chops combined with a cinnamon roll waffle put an exclamation on my dining experience.

   I was very disappointed with my experience. While the restaurant is beautifully designed and perfect for Instagram-worthy photos, the overall service and food quality were lacking. The customer service was subpar, and the food did not live up to the expectations for the price. Our waitress was inattentive to our needs and seemed upset when we chose not to leave an additional tip on top of the mandatory 20% service charge. If you’re seeking a spot for stunning photos, this might be the place for you, but if you’re after good food and service, I’d recommend going elsewhere.

The shrimp and grits, as well as the catfish and grits, were particularly standout dishes with rich, savory flavors that truly satisfied our palates. Additionally, the trio appetizer provided a nice start to our meal, showcasing a pleasing assortment of tastes and textures. Each dish was presented beautifully and exceeded our expectations. Particularly, Gabby's attention to detail and friendly demeanor made the dining experience memorable. She was knowledgeable about the menu, provided excellent recommendations, and ensured our dining needs were met promptly. The ambiance of the restaurant also added to the overall excellent experience, creating a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere.     Our experience again was amazing. Staff was on point and very courtesy. And to our waitress she was phenomenal. Every time I looked up she was refilling my glass and making sure we were ok. Keep up the great work.
