   We had a reservation still took over 45 mins to be seated, after ordering our food we waited over an hour to get our food. Ask the waitress for water, that took forever we ended up asking another waitress and she immediately took care of us. She was all over her tables providing great service to her tables. Oh! And we received the Asian sauce for our lamb chops 40 mins before we got our food. Not sure what we were supposed to do with the sauce without our food. Been here several times before and had excellent service. Maybe it was an off night but not what I expected when spending nearly $400.00.

   This is my third time trying to give this restaurant a try. The first time we stood at the front for 10-15 min before we were even greeted. We had a reservation and were finally seated in the bar area. The food was good and the service was good. My second experience was the second night of the Usher concert. We had a a reservation for 6pm for a party of 4. We waited an hour and a half to be seated. They were running way behind on reservations and people were everywhere. The concert started at 8 and was next door. We knew that we should have been close to being seated and we were standing near the hostess stand when a group walked right in who clearly knew the manager. She whispered to them,”I’ll get you seated.” We noticed and told them that we had been waiting. They seated us next. We only had time for something quick so we ordered salads and fish and grits. The third and final experience is today on New Year’s Day. Again, we made a reservation and again they were not prepared. This time the wait was only 15 min with a reservation. There were lots of tables open but clearly not enough staff. This place is a FRAUD!!! Priced and disguised as an upscale soul food restaurant with a 20% automatic gratuity for subpar service. Over priced classic dishes like $37 for pork chops or $37 for turkey wings! A la cart traditional soul food sides. Not to mention the over priced drinks! And for what? To listen to some R&B! There are no table limits so people sit at their table for hours, backing up the reservations. Unacceptable and a complete embarrassment for a black owned restaurant. Do better!!!

   I had a wonderful experience at K&K. My food was delicious and I throughly enjoyed everything I had. Hailey was my server and she was amazing!

   Service was EXTREMELY slow. Maybe they were short-staffed because it was NYE. We ordered our food and waited an hour before it was served.

    Horrible service!!! When you order an appetizer and the waitress immediately states I must warn you that the meal is going to be salty. Why would you use that much sodium in anything. We watched the server take meals to incorrect tables all night. Then we later saw the same server cleaning a table after the guests left. At restaurants I have never seen the busboy/cleaner also serving meals from the kitchen. I was afraid our meal was going to go to an incorrect table and it in fact did. The food is not worth the amounts being charged. You get no sides with a $65 plate. Not worth it! We were sick after arriving home and the next day.
