   Great food and service, nicely decorated for Christmas. Beef short rib pie tasted amazing with the gravy, just wish there was more meat in the pie.

   Alice was amazing! She was so kind, interesting funny! She knew how to expertly open a bottle of wine and knew when to ask what we wanted and when to give us space to chat. The food was to die for too, venison scotch egg followed by Christmas Turkey dinner, coffee and a port, I am coming back again before Christmas Day!!!! Well done Kite, loved every minute, atmosphere amazing too, a safe port in a storm!!!

   Food was excellent and big portions. Sunday lunch and the restaurant was full but got quiet as the afternoon drew on. Very enjoyable.

   Friday night dinner, I had the venison pie which was fabulous, so tasty Followed by pumpkin cake pudding which was also absolutely lovely.

   There were 4 in our party. We had 3 different starters, Mackerel, croquettes and white pudding scotch egg. All were excellent. We only had 2 different main courses, the venison pie and the stone bass with additional skinny fries. Again, both mains were excellent. One dessert of pumpkin cake - again excellent. We couldn't fault the quality of these meals.

    Staff were lovely, food was very impressive - high level presentation. They catered to our father who is slightly hard of hearing. Very pleased and will definitely come back.
