   Excellent environment with great views. Wish we could have stayed to eat but we had to get to a show and they were understaffed. It took a while to get our drinks. Hope we can give it another try next time we are in Grand Rapids.

   We made a reservation for inside which was sad because we totally wanted to sit outside and then when we got there they just so happen to offer the outside to us and it made the night perfect

   The view and atmosphere were great. The hostess was able to accommodate a request to sit on the deck. Food was good, but not worth the price. We were frustrated that two of the things we tried to order were out (it was only 7 p.m., early for an open-late cocktail lounge) and that we were not informed of that until we tried to order. Cocktails were good; red wine list was minimal.

   My review has more to do with the website than the restaurant. The website does not have the correct menu. The website also lists parking available in the hotel area of parking garage - seeming to indicate you would be validated. That is not correct. These are both significant issues. Thankfully our food and server were good.

   We got to the restaurant and the hostess was unable to bring our reservation up. We were seated inside (2) and had to ask the staff to move us outside to the two top there as requested. It was nice on the patio . The food was ok but nothing to get excited about. We had the meat and cheese board. The cocktails were way overpriced and did not taste or look that good for min $17 drink!! Service was terrible . Rather than overpay for more mediocre food or drink we opted to go elsewhere. Very disappointing. I don't think we'd go back.

   Came for a nightcap and had a dirty martini. Wasn’t the greatest martini, but the atmosphere was fun and relaxing.

    Once we found Knoop we were promptly greeted and seated outside as we requested in our reservation. Beautiful and unique environment. Our waitstaff was fabulous with drink and meal suggestions. Very attentive and we liked that she brought us a carafe of water towards the end of our meal for easy refills as we continued chatting after dinner. They accommodated making mocktails for us. Food arrived hot, delicious and in a timely manner. We visited on a Sunday.
