Welcome to Koko by Bakan. Nestled in the natural tree canopy of Coconut Grove, our 6,000 square-foot indoor and outdoor restaurant & bar transports guests to Mexico with its sophisticated and artistic design, cacti garden, and outdoor bar & terrace.     Ambiance was nice, server was very good. Food was really average - this is our second time to KOKO (first time in May) and the food was disappointing. Drinks were expensive. Wont be rushing back.

    Automatic Service charge for 2 people? We always tip but to charge it automatically. We added an extra $4 to make it 25%

    Our third meal for a special birthday occasion. Food and service were disappointing, especially compared to two wonderful experiences before We requested birthday singing in writing but they forgot. Queso fundido was far too salty this time and cochinita pibil tacos lacked pickled carrots and onions from previous meals. We love their other restaurants and hope they can regain their earlier success at ko ko.

    We had a wonderful dinner last night at Koko. I had a mole with short ribs that was excellent and my husband had the sea bass tacos he devoured. Mathias was our server and did a great job. We have a few more nights in Coconut Grove and will be going back. Thanks, Koko, for a great evening!

    The chicken quesadillas are amazing. the Swiss enchilada wasn't the best. it had some cold ingredients inside. the spicy margarita with mezcal also very nice. I love this place and those black tortillas are great.
