This amazing tuna cutting show is an event performed right in front of your eyes. An entire gigantic tuna is cut into parts, delivering the most desirable parts of the tuna, such as the o-toro, known as the fatty tuna, and chu-toro, semi-fatty tuna, which is the delicious part that ends up as sushi on your plate. Complimentary Sake is poured throughout the event. Additional charges include taxes and gratuity.

We went for the tuna carving. We sat on the patio and it was very comfortable even though it was March. The carving was cool, and the tuna flowed- it was lots of different variations are really showcased the tuna. Would recommend!

It was a wonderful time watching a live tuna carving and then eating it in multiple ways. Next time I hope to get a counter seat so I can get the pieces directly from the chef. 😋

We went to Koma for the Tuna carving and it was a great experience. Delicious and fresh fish and really cool seeing the carving. We were worried that we had a table outside but it’s a completely enclosed space with heaters, so we were really comfortable sat outside in the middle of November!

The tuna slicing live is a unique experience, definitely a must see. The fresh tuna sashimis are as true Japanese chefs would make. Given that the tuna is so freshly sliced and played, it’s a crime to do the pairings with these “beach club sushi restaurant” style creations. The servers were so nice, they’re doing their best. Unfortunately, the price tag on the dinner and what the restaurant is pretending to be can’t be achieved with high school kids trying to serve. You could see some of them were really trying, but clearly there was no training behind their night.
