Jack was an excellent server. He was attentive and knew the menu. The food was average and a little overpriced.

We are avid Kona Grill attendees, which is why we booked my birthday dinner with them. We had a reservation for 5 at 5pm. 3 of us ordered the all you can eat sushi and the other two ordered off the regular menu. Our waiter was subpar, as he failed to mention they were out of almost half of the items we wanted, had we known that we would not have ordered the all you can eat sushi. We then waited 25 minutes for two glasses of white wine, that was almost warm by the time it made its way over to us (which I had to ask for an update on the wine). Our server then informed us that they were out of miso soup but could substitute it for clam chowder, we reluctantly agreed as clam chowder is not the best starter for sushi. Two rolls came out before the soup and the salads came out 45 minutes AFTER receiving our first roll…. Not to nitpick but at this point I had had enough, he served the men first and ladies last (for wine and food) at the end of our experience he never once mentioned the birthday that we were there celebrating and told us he took the clam chowder and salads off the bill for us (salad and soup were included in the all you can eat) and proceeded to charge us full price for the all you can eat. Overall very disappointed and won’t be back for awhile. We love Kona grill and we’re very surprised by this experience.

The food was really not good. Everything we ordered was gross. The service was so slow and food came out all over the place. Our kids got there meals and 30 minutes later we got ours then we waited 40 minutes for our server to finally come back to ask for a bill. Thank goodness someone bought us a gift card would have felt really upset about spending money on the meal I just experienced. There are so many better restaurant options to go to with much better food and a way better price.

We have had a couple of wonderful visits to Kona Grill and tonight we took six friends that hadn't been before. We were embarrassed. 1) The waiter stared at us blankly throughout our evening exchanges. He was unwilling to provide a thoughtful answer to any of our questions. 2) We were sitting so long waiting to place an appetizer order that we decided to skip it and get our dinner orders in before the waiter disappeared again. 3) One dinner came out 10min before anything else. 4) Even when the waiter asked how we were doing, he walked away without clearing any of the empty plates. 5) The salad was swimming in dressing and I (who love my salads) had zero interest in finishing it. 6) To top it off, the waiter included an automatic 25% tip! Are you kidding? These are the reasons that people are ticked off about tipping these days. He didn't deserve 10% but he gave himself 25%. Kona Grill has gone downhill. (They need to take a serious look at some of their staff or work on training people about how to work in food service) We won't be back until we hear things are better.

all of the food we ordered was good; the issue is that we ordered several appetizer plates, and only a couple came out at first. It took almost a half hour for the rest of our order to come out, and that was only because we had to ask our server where everything else was!! The kitchen did not have it together!

Our party of 3 enjoyed our poke bowl entrees and our beet salad appetizer. Drink service was slow and they ran out of a lower cost wine I preferred. A large group was dining in their party room and that event seemed to take away their attention from regular dining customers.

After waiting 35 mins after being sat at our table the waitress comes over with one of the managers and asks if we had been helped. Odd question as we are sitting there at your assigned table and no food no drinks no napkins no nothing. After telling her no the manager said he will comp a drink or appetizer for the wait. Cool we thought. The waitress took our order and within 10ins the appetizers were delivered. However. No silverware nor plates nor napkins came along with them. Just dumped on the table and she left. We waited 10 mins to flag another employer down for her to bring us these items. Our waitress shows back up and keep in mind we have now been seated for about 45 mins and she asks if we are ready to order. Um we did when you took our drink and appetizer order and reminded her. She said oh let me go check the kitchen. Never seen here again and after another 15 mins of waiting we flagged down a very nice manager who was apologetic and said will make it right. Well we waited another 10 mins and decided to call it quits with this experience. The manager said we didn't have to pay and apologized. We were there 1hour and 40 mins and it was not a good experience at all. Sorry this was how my 1st time at your restaurant played out. I had better hopes for a good meal and company.

We were a bit disappointed with our lunch on Sat, Feb 15th. Firstly, most steaks were out of stock for the surf and turf, and the frozen margarita machine was broken. The portion sizes of the steaks were tiny. Our bill came to $240 for the following: 2 x diet cokes 2 x passionritas 1 x kids mini cheese burgers 2 x surf and turf
