6:30 reservations, didn’t get seated until about 7:15-7:20, drink service slow, plenty of staff but seemed confused and didn’t know what to do. Got charged twice for my entree, and the food wasn’t anything special. Not tempted to go back.

Please read to the end: We had a problem with the menu not disclosing that some fish is mixed with tempura flakes, which is dangerous for someone like me with a gluten allergy. The waitress also did not inform us after being told of my allergy. That being said, the owner personally reached out to apologize and informed me that they are training their staff, which I appreciate and believe will correct the issue going forward. It’s a beautiful restaurant and very nice atmosphere and we plan to give it another shot.

Our waitress was extremely nice and attentive. Food was delicious - so happy this restaurant is in Montgomery now!

This was our first visit to Kozue and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious and fresh. The service was attentive and helpful. Kozue is a great addition to the Montgomery area.

Our server was patient and attentive. The food came quickly for a sushi establishment. Alcohol selection was more varied than expected. Food was good, we had the sushi boat, some sashimi-salad and soup were also very tasty. Overall a great experience and we will be back.

Loved our experience at Kozue. Skewers were excellent and so was the ramen and sushi!

We enjoyed the food and the environment. The bar side seating (where we were seated) has a direct sight-line to the underside bar LED light strip that shines directly into your face. Very uncomfortable and unfortunate. Everything else was pleasant.

We had such an amazing time. The staff was so kind and attentive and the food was unbelievably delicious. We will definitely be back.

Stopped in for dinner on Christmas Day. Was fantastic. Teriyaki Salmon was very flavorful along with edamame, ginger salad and miso soup. Hot sake was very nice on rainy evening. My husband always enjoys their sushi and combo rolls. We highly recommend.
