   kumiko is always our favorite spot to take visiting friends for a memorable evening. cocktails are always well-crafted, delicate, nuanced, and sensible. service was great and the atmosphere is respectful and welcoming.

   The food is good but too small portion. The cocktails are okay but most of them are way too expensive and not interesting at all. 19th in the North America’s 50 Best Bars is overpraised. Finally, please take your customers seriously.

   Wonderful spot for drinks - especially spiritfree ones, and some bites. They had a tasting menu, but I opted for a-la-carte this time around. After talking with Maddy, one of the phenomenal bartenders, we decided on going through the entire a-la-carte spiritfree cocktails. Each one was unique, with many herbaceous and fun expected flavors. Maddy made it such that the entire experience was lovely.

   Soooo cool!!! 10/10 recommend sitting at the whiskey bar, you feel so cool and special. Every employee is the nicest coolest most fun person ever, all the drinks were fantastic and so well crafted. Special s/o the bathroom for having Aesop exfoliating hand soap, lotion and individual towels! Kumiko was such a great experience, everyone needs to try it!

   Maddie the bartender was fantastic. Explained different spirits that were in my cocktails, great learning experience! Also gave good recommendations on food and drinks. Fried chicken was perfect, and honestly the potato salad was some of the best I've ever had. Wagyu tataki had great flavor and portion sizes are nice to have alone or to share and try a few.

   Amazing drinks and being able to order food from the restaurant upstairs is a plus. The Japanese potato salad is amazing. Their shochu and Japanese whiskey selection is amazing, better than some bars I've been to in Japan, but it is expensive. The special plum flavored old fashioned was $37. Expect to pay similar prices for a dram of whiskey. Worth the price though to taste some whiskeys you probably wouldn't find anywhere else in the US.

    Beautifully crafted restaurant with immaculate attention to details. Cocktail was one of the best I’ve had, unique and balanced with all different flavors shining through
