   I made reservations. The food was so good. Value for the food was amazing. Service was good too. The food came so fast to the table. Plus it was my birthday snd we got a discount for that. The restaurant is modern but the food reminds me of old Japanese food when I was growing up which is hard to find in Oahu. Mahalo, it was the best.

   This was my grandfather's birthday go to growing up and I kept going back for special occasions because the food and portions were always on point but was disappointed on this visit. Miss seeing Sato san!!

   The fried azulejo is light and crispy, love the flavour. Tempura shrimp is quite big and plump. Sashimi is fresh. Good value for the food…also the Uber ice cream is very 👍

   Delicious food - we tried the Butterfish and Teri Chicken. Everything was delicious and we look forward to dining there again!

   The staff is always so nice and welcoming. The food is great and the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is clean with a nice ambience and vibe. The drinks are good too. Lots of parking.

   Food was good and fast The place was very busy Pricing a little on the high end Service is very limited to just check in on you when they are in passing helping others The older man that has been there centuries is also fun to see

   Overly priced, add 18% on to bill for group of 6 plus, would be great if they actually attended to your table.. i don’t care for the food.. it’s boring, Katsu was bland, rib eye is different, sashimi was good, tempura could be better.. over all a 2… it’s too loud as well, couldn’t hear the ppl across from us , had to talk really loud. 300$ spent and went to 7-11 afterwards to get manapua cuz I didn’t care for the rib eye I ordered..

   It did seem that a few of the servers were more interested in the football game going on in the bar area than providing service to the customers on the restaurant side. I don't think we'll be back on a Sunday during NFL season. Otherwise, the food was good. My friends had never been to Kuni prior to this time & they did enjoy it regardless of the service we received.

   This was our first time on a Wednesday to try the 50% off ribeye sizzling steak. We prefered it with the teri sauce. It was a good deal & we'd go again if we could get another OpenTable reservation.
