                                                                                            A nice surprise in Duluth, it was like entering a restaurant in the middle of the Swiss Alps. The Swiss fondue, the vegetarian pasta with egg, the Alsace salmon and the banana foster (prepared at your table) were all delicious. Great and attentive service topped the night.

                                                                                            Long time fan of Kurt's. We have never been disappointed eating there. Make sure to try the apps and stick with the traditional German dishes and you'll leave stuff.

When you have chefs that have been with the resturant since the early 2000's, you are doing something right. I would like the raw oysters available more often. If you are making Oysters Rockefeller, doesn't that start with raw oysters?

                                                                                            I special reserved one Schwienehaxe (pork shank) that I always get. This one was overdone and fatty. I usually would get a huge football of tender meat, surrounded by a tasty crisp fatty layer. This one was not edible due to overcooking so the fat was like leather, and grizzle running throughout. They took it off the check but I came away hungry.
