Ate in the new section and felt like we were in a hotel lobby. The lighting was super bright! It’s like our server forgot she had our table. She forgot drinks, clearing of plates and silverware. Food was not the level you would expect especially when spending $77 on a dish.

Great experience at La Caille. Food was next level- really good. We had a wonderful waitress. The service to start was a tad slow in getting us drinks and sparkling water. We had to wait a solid 20 minutes before we had our drinks. But that was the o my hiccup with the rest of the night being fabulous! Cocktails were delish. Looks like they’ve renovated and we were in a new section instead of the older more traditional house part. Have to say we preferred the old ambience. The new section was bright and stark by comparison. But overall night was great and we will be back for sure. The Christmas lights outside are a must see! Five star night.

Had the seafood stew and steak. Steak was okay but under seasoned (could have used more salt and pepper) but everything is overpriced for the quality. The charcuterie and bacon appetizers are great. Drinks are good, but not the best we’ve had. Spent about $460 for 4 people. Expansion doesn’t match their original design, which is unfortunate but can request to sit in the original dining which is very much worth the wait!

We love coming to La Caille. The grounds are lovely and generally we have a great experience. Unfortunately, this time around wasn’t up to our expectations. We had a family gathering and booked reservations for the upstairs dining room. Unfortunately, we were placed in the lounge which just didn’t have the same ambiance. Our server was great, but our entrees were dry as if they had sat for period of time. We’ll be back, but definitely didn’t live up to the moment.

Many changes to the menu and not for the better. Lacks richness and flavor food had for years. Seems dedicated to strange offerings and more health minded. Not sure why the change. French onion soup before was famous, not clear what this is being served today. Not very good. Had filet mignon, it was fine. Experimental desserts that remind you of breakfast food, had the chai something. Not the meal I’ve grown to know over many years and visits to this beautiful iconic restaurant.

The fillet was tasty however it was cold. The service was very good however the facilities under construction, and you are paying premium prices for the setting, but the place smells like sewer as they are replacing a sewer line and redoing a road outside. The restaurant is not what it used to be, and they are charging premium prices For the same setting and the same service.

We had a reservation, but waited for 10-15 minutes for a table even though there were plenty of open tables. I know this is a French restaurant, but the portions were comically small. The lobster bisque had one small piece of rubbery lobster that they plopped in the bowl before pouring in the bisque and the duck was hard to even cut through. At times I thought the server had forgotten about us and I had to flag her down to take our order. Overall a disappointing experience. For that price point I expected much more.

Loved our evening here! We did a wine tasting and dinner. We particularly loved the salads and maple glazed bacon. The complimentary palate cleansing sorbet, sweet at the end truly made dinner an experience!

Table of 5 patrons. 4 out of 5 ordered either the Filet or cowboy ribeye. Waitress was very attentive to how we wanted our steaks cooked. Stated they could even dial in a temp between rare and medium rare. The steaks were served closer to medium/well. For $125 ribeye and $75 filet all were over cooked. Not even close. Would not repeat a dining experience here…
