   I have never had a bad experience. The tacos are awesome, and the margaritas are mixed to perfection. If I sound like a fan, it's because I am.

   The food and service were excellent. The appetizers are huge. We easily had a conversation during dinner, not overly loud.

   We are never disappointed dining here. We sat at the bar and started with the amazing chips and salsas. The chicken and beef fajitas were enough to share (but I didn’t :) ). We had enough left overs to take home. It was a nice treat to be able to have a nice dinner at the bar over drinks and all the staff are so friendly and attentive , loved it!

   This was the first time we have been to La Capital MX and we will definitely make a point of going again some time. The food was amazing—some really interesting spins on traditional Mexican food. Our only gripe was the service was very slow. Our waiter was also mixing drinks at the bar which meant his focus was not really on his tables. The wait for the food was quite long and he did not surface very often to check to see if we needed anything. Not his fault probably—the restaurant was really busy and he was working; just not necessarily at his tables.

   Nice ambience, atmosphere. Food is ok, but we would have liked more authentic, flavorful Mexican food. Waiter was so, so: impersonal, rushed. Free parking in garage next door.

   The best Mexican food we have found in Charlotte thus far. We are from San Antonio, TX and had pretty much given up finding anywhere to eat good Mexican food but decided to give La Capital MX a chance. It did not disappoint Good start with the chips, salsa and queso. Skinny margarita and Ranch Water were legit. The tacos were authentic and very good. Had the churros to cap off the meal and they were very good...and filling. More than enough to share. Great vibe and attentive, friendly service. We will come back.

   We used to visit here often. Seems the staff has flipped and all seemed very disjointed. Long waits on food/drinks, servers with little confidence, personality. It was an Eh experience. No need to come back for a while. The Pescado taco is still the best in town though!

    Love it -our “go too” for tacos in a setting where you cans also have excellent sangria or fabulous spicy margaritas at the bar. We are repeat offenders ;)
