    Our waitress was absolutely amazing but the rest of the staff was running like a headless chicken. Completely discombobulated, I get the idea of them trying to be helpful but they actually do more harm than good. We had a good amount of left overs so another person came and offered to box it. The amazing waitress offered us experimental cocktails so we staid probably 20/30 min after we paid the bill. Our packaged food was never given back to us nor we saw the employee that took it away. It’s not about the food but the principle and the service.

I would be interested in speaking with you about your comments about "doing more harm than good". The staff all tries to be extremely attentive and we normally receive great service reviews, but on occasion we don't hit it just right. The fact that you didn't receive your food after it was packaged is not acceptable. I would love to offer you a gift card for the items that you didn't get to take home with you.     We were not happy with our initial table but the manager graciously moved us to another table. Our server Gustavo was terrific. We ordered agnolotti and pollo al mattone and both were delicious.

    My family and I dined at La Connessa for the first time on Christmas Eve. The service was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The host warmly welcomed us, the bartender was engaging and friendly, and our waitress was incredibly attentive throughout the evening. The restaurant's ambiance is absolutely stunning. We enjoyed the Christmas Eve pre-fixed menu. The cocktails were a highlight; my sister and I especially loved the Greyhound's Tooth and The Avenue. For our first courses, the winter citrus and chicory salad and the beef carpaccio were fantastic. Our second courses were equally delicious. We had the roasted chanterelle mushroom risotto and the rib-eye tagliata. Both dishes were flavorful and perfectly prepared. While the persimmon crostata we all had was yummy, we were a bit disappointed that we couldn't sample the dark chocolate budino as the restaurant had run out. The only downside to our otherwise lovely evening was the pacing. There was a noticeable wait between courses. Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at La Connessa.

    The atmosphere of this place is lovely. They really spent the money and some thought on the decor, lighting, etc. My only design concern is that when you dine here at night, the combination of the low lighting and the tiny, dark grey font on a beige background menu makes reading the menu difficult. The food is all top notch, and though the prices are a bit high, they are not that different than all the other fine dining establishments throughout the city. Our service was iffy. There were long lags between people checking in on us and we wanted an additional drink and to add to an order during those lags. And this was not just due to the fact that they were busy. Our waiter was chatting with a co-worker for much of the time we were hoping someone might ask us if we wanted dessert. We eventually flagged someone down, but it's preferable that we don't have to do so. I've been here other times when the service was fine, so this may be a one-time thing.

    We went to La Conessa for our anniversary and they treated us great! Would highly recommend. From food to overall vibe and price, La Conessa is a must. We will be going back soon! Thank you to the team for the special night
