A modern take on the classic trattoria. The menu celebrates traditional Italian cuisine with an array of classic dishes with contemporary influences. Antipasti and pastas dishes feature the finest hand-selected ingredients, the Marra Forni wood-fired pizzas with expertly blistered crusts are perfect for sharing, and the hearty secondi offerings include hand-made pastas, bistecca and local seafood. The beverage program highlights wines from California and Italy, with a focus on small, family-owned producers. When booking your reservation, you will be charged a deposit of $50 (+tax) per person. This reservation fee will be applied to the final bill upon completion of your meal. For a full refund of your reservation fee, we require a minimum of 7 days advance notice for cancellations or adjustments to your reservation. Cancellation of your reservation within 7 days, including reducing the number of guests in your party, relinquishes your prepaid menu fee. Should you no longer be able to make your reservation, you are welcome to transfer it to someone else, as you would tickets to a concert, the theater, or sports match.

    We had heard such great things about this place, but I have to say it was a huge disappointment. The chicory salad was overdressed, the pizza came out and it really tasted like pita bread, not pizza. The crust was under done and was flat not puffy. We were wondering if maybe the oven wasn't hot enough. It was really underwhelming. The bolognese pasta was good, but had very little sauce on it. The dessert, a chocolate budino, came out hard more like fudge. The waitress said that's their take on budino, but it tasted like they had made it earlier in the day, put it in the refrigerator at too cold to temperature, took it out when we ordered it, and didn't let it come to the right consistency. Maybe we hit it in on bad night, but we won't be back. Our neighboring table said their chicken was delicious. Maybe we should have ordered that.

    Truly wonderful evening. Excellent and thoughtful service, food was delicious, tiramisu was incredible. Overall a beautiful restaurant.

    Truly an outstanding dining experience! The staff was amazing especially our server Ishelle. Everything we ordered on the menu was phenomenal! The atmosphere was fun and the service was exceptional!

    Stellar Sunday brunch with excellent service and menu options. Cocktails were interesting and made to perfection. The food was superb. A gem.

    The space is very smart and elegant, and the wait staff was lovely. The food was excellent from the aperitivos through the dolce. La Connessa is a definite keeper.

    The ambience was expensive looking and nice but unfortunately the food did not live up to expectations. The 4 of us had a couple of salads, pastas and desserts but none of it was worth the $$$. If you do happen to go there, the focaccia as appetizer was thin, crunchy and topped with sea salt- that was good.

    Beautiful space, fantastic waitress & great restaurant week deal. Loved it all. The perfect place to catch up with an old friend for brunch.
