Visiting Sacramento couple weeks back and we stopped in for a bite. After sitting, completely ignored for approximately 20 minutes, I asked to speak with the manager. About 10 minutes later, a man who had been just chatting and drinking a soda with what appeared to be a fellow employee approached our table. Upon arriving at our table, I mentioned that we had been sitting for a while and nobody had come to our table. His reply, "Do you think because you're white, we should treat you any better than other customers". Wait...what!!!??

I didn't actually need a reservation, since it was counter service. Very happening lunch spot in Cesar Chavez park - great for a lunch meeting - quick and good atmosphere. Loved the chicken tacos!

The food was exceptionally yummy and the ambiance and service were awesome.

Took 1.5 hours to get our food. Food was cold upon arrival. They did not have enough menus! We had 2 servers ask if we were done with them as we were deciding what we wanted. Receipt was incorrect, overcharged. Waitress told us they did not have a child menu but that they could make a cheese quesadilla after waiting 1.5 hours for our food, she said the cooks argued with her and would not make the quesadilla!!! Are you kidding? The restaurant is super cute if only the service and food was good! I literally had to hunt down our waitress to get our bill.

The management was very nice, but service was slow. The pictures on their website made the restaurant appear like a very nice, happening place, and that seating outdoors was an option. It wasn't--outdoors is the only place to sit and you're in the middle of Cesar Chavez Park. That evening it was HOT, and there was a noisy event going on in the park. I'll probably be back for a dinner when I'm more in a partying mood and not wanting a quiet evening with friends.

The food was carefully prepared and served. The plates were unloaded. We feasted our eyes before our appetites with the artsy but tasteful ambiance. The food was a "fiesta" of flavors and textures that were most pleasing to the palate. I ordered the fish; my friend ordered the vegan dish. We were extremely pleased with food, service and overall experience. We will be returning. We are considering celebrating a friend's birthday on July 2nd there.

We've visited La Cosecha three times in the last two months. Each visit we were greeted immediately and warmly and seated right away. The value of the meals were typical and the happy hour prices are great. All that aside, you come here for the food. You've got to try the chilaquiles for brunch, it's just spicy enough and thr chips are the perfect balance of crisp and loaded with eggs and cheese. The Happy Hour nachos are sublime! Big chunks of marinated pork with black beans and cheeses. The street tacos were delicious with little bits of pineapple teasing your taste buds. And the cocktails! Oh man, they know what they're doing. Sweet ones, savory ones, tequila tastings.... The list goes on. Don't miss out on this gem.

We are never disappointed with the service (Moises is our favorite). Great food, ambiance, music and dancing. Perfect spot for a couples date night on Saturdays.

First time visit after driving or walking by many times. Dinner with friends was made even more special because the food was great, the service was personal, the ambience was great - as was the live music. Will definitely go again... and again. I think it could become a regular spot for us.
