Welcome to La Crosta Woodfire Pizzeria Italiana. Here we share our vision of authentic Italian traditional pizza, which dates back to the Greco-Roman period and starts with fresh, high quality ingredients. Many of them are flown in from Italy, including our tomatoes, flour and burrata cheese. Our dough is handmade daily. In fact, La Crosta in Italian means “the crust” and we believe our fluffy crust is the best in the business. In all, I’ve created a comfortable restaurant for you and your friends to spend time together and create new memories.

                                                                      La Crosta is hands down my favorite pizza spot in Chicago. Dino, the owner, makes it a point to greet his guests and ensure they’re having the most enjoyable experience possible. The food is next level good! I would definitely recommend the carciofi appetizer - to die for. Can’t go wrong with any of the pizza options either! The flavors and that perfect crust keep us coming back over and over again. 12/10.

                                                                      Great small Italian pizza spot. We sat in the rear away from door on a snowy night so nice and warm. We were right next to the kitchen but did not even realize until we got up to leave. It was very busy and full but not hectic. The artichoke appetizer was something we had not had before but was delicious and not too heavy before pizza. The Cesar salad was good size, fresh and crispy but could use a touch more flavor. The pizza was excellent, light airy and delicious. Thin crust hot out of the oven, you can easily eat a few slices. The service was quick but not rushed. If you are looking for a nice neighborhood spot for pizza, this is it.

                                                                      Love La Crosta our favorite neighborhood place. No matter what the season, sitting outside or in your favorite window booth it’s always a great experience. The pizzas are sublime, our favorite is the Calla-Tella combined that with half price wine Wednesday, a real treat. Dino is there with a friendly check in and the wait staff is attentive. Highly recommended.
